Three days after we met, Justin was begging me (I mean blowing my phone UP via text, facebook, and phone calls) trying to convince me to go on a date. I wasn't quite sure that I wanted to jump right back into the dating scene; so I did what any girl would do...I called all my girlfriends for advice! I really wanted to give him a chance and get to know him, but I wasn't ready for a one-on-one date. Ultimately, I came up with a good compromise... a group date at the bowling alley.
We met at a local bowling alley in Manhattan; this was only after Bryan, Kimmie, Michelle & I had a few pre-drinks to calm my nerves! As it was, my crew & I showed up a little late... Justin later confessed he thought I was going to bail on him. The bowling alley was packed so we all ended up just squeezing around a table over drinks. I was a little more tipsy than I had intended so I was a pretty cheap date at that point- water only for this kid. I was just taking a quick time out. Eventually, we decided to roll out and we hit up Aggieville. Several fish tanks later we were all feeling pretty darn good. My nerves were gone and Justin was on a roll; he had me laughing all night!
